Parking Options at Beth Israel:
- At the corner of NW 19th and Flanders is a small lot marked “for Beth Israel.” The lot is on the NE corner (North toward Seattle, East towards the Willamette River). This is free parking.
- Street parking is available. Parking Meters are free after 7pm. Parking Zones (example: limit 30 minutes) are only enforced until 6pm. After 6pm, there is no time limit. The same is true for most loading zones (look for the posted sign).
- Additional parking (approx. 30 spaces) is located under the building of Beth Israel’s Pollin Chapel (1972 NW Flanders), on the south side of NW Flanders. Look for the grated garage door on the left side of the building. Pull into the driveway and ring the bell on the left side post. Let them know you’re with the Intro to Judaism class and the door will open. Clearance is 6’ 8” and smaller cars are preferable as parking is tight. An elevator takes you up to the first floor, Pollin Chapel, so this is ideal parking for those with limited mobility.
